About us

Lea

Hi, I'm Lea, a software engineer, mainly focusing on modern web development. I don't have a traditional computer science degree but a legal background. During my studies I got involved with startups and legal tech. Eventually, I stumbled upon programming, and when I saw the magic you could create with just HTML and CSS in a browser, I was hooked. So much that I traded my hard-earned law degree for a spot in a bootcamp. Now, I can't imagine doing anything else. I find joy in the continuous learning and challenges that come with this field. In addition to my professional work, I'm deeply committed to volunteer activities, especially those aimed at empowering women in tech. When I'm not coding, I enjoy a variety of hobbies. I love cooking new recipes, getting lost in a good book, hiking through nature, playing football, and practicing kickboxing.

Antonio

Hi there! I'm a former biologist turned software engineer with a passion for learning and experimentation. In my previous career, I worked in the fascinating field of microbiology, where I loved experimenting and gaining new insights into how microorganisms function. My journey into programming began when I started using Python to analyze experimental data, and I quickly fell in love with it. This passion led me to make a significant career shift, and I've been diving deep into the tech world ever since. Since 2018, I've been building full-stack applications with a strong focus on cloud technologies. I often switch between pure software engineering and platform/infrastructure tasks, working with IaC, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices. My favorite programming languages are TypeScript and Golang, which I enjoy using to create efficient and scalable solutions. When I'm not coding, you can find me indulging in my hobbies: playing football, ping pong, eating (a lot), and hiking.
